Security

 

  • Windows 10/11 - use the built-in Windows Defender.
  • Windows 7 - download  Security Essentials from Microsoft, but consider getting a new PC as Windows 7 is no longer supported.

Email

  • We recommend using your browser to access your email, but if you need to run an email client, Thunderbird is good and free.

Web Browser

A browser is the program that allows you to surf the web and view  web pages. Major OS's have built-in browsers (Windows -> Edge and Mac -> Safari) that are fine for most users. But if you need an alternative, consider Google Chrome.
